Abrau-Durso presents a new restaurant in Khamovniki

Abrau-Durso continues to develop its own gastronomic direction and after the successful flagship project on Arbat presents 1870 Abrau-Durso Usachevsky in Khamovniki. The chain's second large-scale restaurant in Moscow opened in the trendy gastronomic cluster of Usachevsky Market.

The new location is inspired by the Black Sea coastal scenery and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Large panoramic windows letting in warm sunlight remind us of the approaching summer season. Turquoise elements in a light interior seem to transport guests to the seaside. The open kitchen adds a special charm to the hall: you can leisurely watch the dishes being created.

The spacious restaurant with its own outdoor summer terrace can accommodate up to 120 guests. High ceilings add lightness to the space and harmonious lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere.

The talented brand-chef Pavel Tarasov and chef Mikhail Skorikov are responsible for the cuisine. Pavel has an excellent knowledge of the subtleties of European, Asian and Russian cuisines and widely practices the fusion format, but he is particularly fond of Black Sea cuisine. Mikhail Skorikov is an experimentalist who prefers unusual combinations in his dishes. At 1870 Abrau-Durso Usachevsky, chefs present Black Sea specialties in both classic and modern fusion formats, and most importantly, always perfectly matched to wines from the Abrau-Durso collections.

About the menu:

Unlike the flagship restaurant on Arbat, at 1870 Abrau-Durso Usachevsky the kitchen has a wood-burning oven, barbecue and josper, so many new dishes on the fire are expected to appear on the menu. Both appetizers (chicken liver pate with spicy cherry, 590 rub., cauliflower doughnuts with truffle, 690 rub., yuzu panna cotta with sea urchin caviar, 690 rub.), and main courses (Black Sea mackerel fillet, 790 rub., beef rib with jalapeño pepper, 1870 rub., filet mignon with pepper sauce, 2100 rub., grilled octopus with tomatoes and spicy pesto, 1290 rub., bull meat burger, 790 rub.) are interesting.

About the wine list:

It’s easy to choose a gastronomic pairing for the menu dishes in the Abrau-Durso collections. Exquisite Imperial sparkling wines and Brut d'Or mono-sort wines created by classic champagne technology with aging in famous mountain tunnels are best suited to fish and seafood: oysters Fin de Claire, Pink Jolie, St. Patrick, 530 rub., Black Sea mullet with salted lemon and pickle sauce, 1100 rub., risotto with asparagus and red shrimp, 990 rub. The best accompaniment to rich red wines from Vedernikov Winery collection will be salad with beef pastrami, 790 rub., or Casarecce with truffle and jamon, 790 rub.

Red sparkling wine Victor Dravigny, Az Abrau wines or Agdam port wine of Sheki Sharab winery may become a digestif or accompaniment to the dessert list of the restaurant, where you can find 1870 parfait, 850 rub., or lemon meringue, 650 rub.

The restaurant's creators and chefs did everything to make guests feel the mood of carefree holiday right in the center of Moscow: interior colors, light menu, a glass of Abrau-Durso sparkling wine or a cocktail based on it will allow taking a break and feeling the atmosphere of the Black Sea coast.
