Abrau-Durso Group took part in a large-scale exhibition in China

Abrau-Durso Group, a leader in the production of sparkling wines in Russia, took part in the second festival-fair "Made in Russia" within the VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO held from May 17 to 21 in Harbin. The exhibition was one of the key events organized in China to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and brought together leading public and private enterprises from various industries. Abrau-Durso Group was an official partner of the Made in Russia fair and successfully presented sparkling and still wines in Harbin. The total number of visitors to the exhibition was more than three hundred thousand people.

The Russia-China EXPO is the largest platform for bilateral communication between Russia and China. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. The opening ceremony of the exhibition and the interregional cooperation forum was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Deputy Chairman of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng.

The Russian-Chinese EXPO has been held annually for eight years and traditionally presents a large-scale exhibition exposition. The participants of the exhibition 2024 were the largest public and private enterprises in various sectors of the economy from 16 constituent regions of the Russian Federation, including state corporations Rostec and Rosatom, United Company Rusal, business support and development institutions JSC Russian Export Centre and Russian Direct Investment Fund, major financial organizations and many others. Over 50 enterprises from various industries presented their products; the total area of the Russian exposition was 3.5 thousand square meters.

Abrau-Durso Group became the only winery to represent Russia at the Russian-Chinese EXPO. The Group's sparkling and still wines were presented at its own stand in the Made in Russia fair zone organized by the Russian Export Centre (VEB.RF Group), as well as at the joint stand of the REC and the FESCO transport company.

Expanding the presence of Abrau-Durso in China is one of the key vectors for the development of the Group’s foreign economic activities. Participation in the exhibition was another step in strengthening trade relations and development of distribution in the Celestial Empire. Previously, the Group has already participated in other major international professional events in China - the prestigious International Exhibition of Wines and the Wine Industry ProWine China, the exhibition of imported goods and services CIIE (China International Import Expo), as well as in the celebration dedicated to the Russian Maslenitsa held at the Beijing Exhibition Center as part of the 2024-2025 Years of Culture of Russia-China.

Within the Russian-Chinese EXPO, the Abrau-Durso stand hosted tastings of still and sparkling wines of various collections. The guests were presented classic sparkling wine Imperial, samples of Russian Sparkling line, as well as still aged mono-sort wines Cabernet Sauvignon Abrau-Durso, Chardonnay Abrau-Durso and Krasnostop Zolotovsky from Vedernikov Winery, which is the flagship in the production of wines from Russian autochthonous grape varieties. A unique Russian-Chinese set of wines from the largest producers of the two countries was presented to special guests of the exhibition. The gift set included classic sparkling wine Cuvee Alexander II Abrau-Durso and red wine Five Stars from Great Wall, the Chinese largest winemaking company.
